3D TexturE/PAINT Artist
RD is currently looking for an experienced, motivated texture artist to join our talented team remotely in North or South America. This artist would be skilled in creating realistic and stylized realtime/game textures for characters in Substance/UE. In this position you will build on your skill set and pitch in to help in all aspects of texture creation on world class projects! Who you are:
· Strong portfolio showing realistic and stylized textures
· Strong texturing abilities
· 3+ years experience as a texture artist in the videogame
or VFX industry
· Strong understanding of ‘Fortnite’ art style
· Must be located in North or South America
· Advanced knowledge of Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop,
Maya, Zbrush and marmoset toolbag.
· Highly Experienced in Unreal and tuning its material system
· A solid understanding of art fundamentals (lighting, composition
proportion, colour theory, etc.)
· Experience as an art team lead (reviews, feedback, client interface - plus
· Great team player, self motivated and can communicate well
· Strong English skills
· very strong understanding of a real-time workflow for characters
Hi-poly to low poly game mesh, texturing, materials ect
· Strong technical and artist skills
· Experience creating Cinematic/post production characters - bonus*
· Shipped AAA game experience - bonus*
