3D Character artist- Stylized - games
Our team is looking for an excited, driven, motivated and talented artist to join our team remotely. We are looking for an artist that is willing to learn and develop their skills among some of the industries best. In this position you will build on your skill set and pitch in to help in all aspects of character creation on world class projects! Note: This position has a very strong emphasis of ‘sculpting’ cloth and will require examples of such. We are looking for artists who are interesting in building stylized characters and props. Who you are:
· Strong portfolio showing a variety of visual styles.
· Strong examples of stylized real-time assets (high quality)
· Excellent examples of hand sculpting/building cloth
· Strong understanding of anatomy and stylization
· Strong texturing abilities
· Familiar with Fortnite style
· Strong examples of hard surface modeling (hi to game res)
· Highly motivated and driven
· 3+ years experience as a character artist in the videogame
or VFX industry and/or post secondary education
· Knowledge of Maya
· Experienced with Zbrush and/or Mudbox
· Experienced in Substance painter
· Great team player, self motivated and can communicate well
· very strong understanding of a real-time workflow for characters
Hi-poly to low poly game mesh, texturing, materials ect.
· Knowledge of hair creation for real-time is a plus
· Familar with Unreal Engine
· Experienced with Marvelous Designer a plus
· Experience creating Cinematic/post production characters a plus
